Things to Do
There are plenty of things to do around Sun Valley. The Petrified Forest National Park, shopping and dining in Holbrook, Snowflake and Taylor to the south on the way to Show Low, Winslow is about 28 miles west and Saint Johns is east about 65 miles along Highway 180.
The Navajo Reservation is north, taking SR 77 just a mile west of along I-40.
Sun Valley Ranch is working on developing their annual Sun Valley Arts Festival, which will debut in 2018; tentatively.
The Petrified Forest National Park north entrance is just 20 minutes to the east on I-40.
The City of Holbrook is just 7 miles west where you can find lots of restaurants, shopping and stores.
Valley Livestock holds weekly cattle auctions. If you have never been to one before, it is an experience to be had.
As Sun Valley finds it's place, we will bring more things to do here and our surrounding communities.
